When Stacy contacted me last winter and said she wanted me to photograph her wedding, I was excited. I've known Stacy for about 10 years or so. What I loved most about the day is that Stacy was so laid back. She had a "whatever, if things go wrong it's no big deal, i'm just ready to get married" attitude. The colors were gorgeous and the wedding took place outdoors at Pat's Peak in NH. There was no wedding party so the photos were completely focused on Stacy and Nate and their families. Everyone had a great time and most importantly, so did the Bride and Groom. You'll also notice I'm favoring black and white in this post. I go back and forth between being in love with all color and being in love with all B&W. Well, I'm on a b&w kick. And, there's something about wedding and romantic pictures in black and white, don't you think??? ENJOY! Knowing Stacy for a long time, I knew that I could say, "Give me some attitude" and she'd not only do it perfectly, but love every second of it. The next couple are the result. Great, huh? When it came to asking who gives her away, her dad got all choked up. That was the FIRST moment I got choked up...as well as everyone there. He certainly loves his girl. Loved the little pumpkins.

I know what you mean about the black and white verses colour. I really do like the vintage feel of the black and white photographs particularly in this formal setting. Lovely sharp images.

I really liked the way you highlighted some really important and significant points. In this post you say good things come in small packages.
