I was contacted by L's mom a while back. She is friends with other clients of mine (and related to others). I love how everyone is so connected. We decided on the Boston Public Gardens for the session and we couldn't have gotten a better day! It was gorgeous out. We sort of wandered around the Gardens and captured some great shots of little L. It was so laid back, which is key to a really successful shoot. They were totally patient and go-with-the-flow. We all just enjoyed the weather and looking at those cheeks and eyes! Enjoy!

A precious girl worth waiting for. Charlestown MA Malden MA Newborn and Family Photographer4/2/2012 Baby J is the precious new girl for a very, very dear friend of mine. Her mom and dad (actually pictured right up above on their wedding day) are two of my favorite people and her mom is one of the greatest friends anyone could ask for. I was beyond happy when they got pregnant and was literally counting down the days to the due date. She came a few days late (making us all crazy...haha). She was worth the wait though. There is so much love for her by family and friends, but especially by mom and dad. Watching them with her melts your heart. Oh, and I've never had a newborn awake for so long and looking directly into my lens. She is destined to be in front of the camera (which is good since aunt Nicole will always have one on her!) Enjoy this sampling of pics from the shoot! We had to do a Bruins hat since her mom is an ultimate fan and her middle name is Patrice. ;) Can't you actually FEEL the love in this picture?!? And one more. She has daddy wrapped around her finger already.
Baby V's mom contacted me wanting her 3 month pics. I went to her home and had a great time. V's mom is super laid back and that certainly helps the energy of a shoot. We took our time and captured V smiley and happy. The first one is my favorite from the day even though she isn't smiling. I mean, look at those eyes! ENJOY! We wore her out. ;) I'm very happy we got this because mom was sad she didn't do sleepy newborn pics, so one sleeping made her day!
A very good friend of mine got her brother and sister in law a great gift- a newborn session! They had beautiful twin girls and were excited to get such a great gift. I went out to Hudson and they did not disappoint. They were about 5.5 lbs each and just precious! Their parents were obviously so in love with them and were handling two babies very well and with great patience. I had a great time capturing the girls individually, together, and with their parents. Enjoy!
I was referred to baby R's mom by a great client of mine. I first went when she was about 7 months old. She is one of the most smiley babies I have met. I love this age when they are starting to try and talk and have just those few teeth. SO CUTE! R also has the most beautiful eyes. The next time you see her here, she'll be with her new sibling who is coming this month. I'm sure the new addition will be just as adorable!!! I'm starting below with one from her 7 month. ENJOY! One of my personal favorites! My other personal Favorite!I have been following B since she was born. Remember this one? I then saw B at 6 months. We took pics at a castle near their house. Here's one from that session. B has a tendency to be very serious, but when she smiles and laughs, she has the most beautiful smile and listening to her laugh just melts your heart. I captured some photos of her around her house and then we dove into the cake smash and she did not disappoint! She dug right in and really enjoyed that sugar!! ENJOY! Trying to share with me. :)
I first had the pleasure of photographing the C family when they lived in Charlestown. We had met to photograph their 2 year old at the time who is now 3. I was excited when they called to have me come capture the newest members of their family, twin girls, T and M. Dad is greatly outnumbered in this family! The girls are all so beautiful and the precious new additions are obviously loved very much. I especially loved how older sister C refers to them as "My Babies". Super cute. Enjoy!
I am WAY behind. I can honestly say I was not 100% prepared to be this busy, but I am so beyond grateful for all of new clients and referrals I've had this season. I have enjoyed every shoot and meeting each family. I feel very lucky to be able to do something I love (and something that will hopefully be FT by next summer!) But now, I have to catch up on blogs! Although, it's not too bad since a lot of people don't want me to show their pics until after the holidays with cards and gifts going out!
Well, most of you already know just how much I love chubby babies! Add lots of smiles and big blue eyes and that is T! We did the shoot in his bedroom which was super cute. T's dad is in a band and his room is all baby musician decorations. He was smiley, curious and definitely is dying to be on the move like all 6 month olds! Enjoy this preview! I really need to blog all of my shoots from now on! I had a great time shooting yesterday. Little Ana is described by her grandmother as "a tomboy" but we still managed to get her a little girly. However, the ones that really capture her are the ones when she is simply in jeans and a sweatshirt. I had the chance to use my new pink background which I love. Having the flexibility to carry around my "portable studio" to people's homes makes the experience personal and relaxed. Enjoy the pictures of this beautiful little 9 month old.
