I first met this mom and her boys last fall. We had a great shoot at the Bunker Hill Monument. It was my favorite kind of shoot, more "lifestyle". The boys had brought their trucks and bikes and we just hung out, walked around, and captured them playing. The oldest, W, is a very smart boy. In the fall, he taught me all about trucks. Seriously. He knows EVERYTHING about trucks. I then, met them again on Christmas Eve to snap a few photos of their family that was in town. I adore this family, so I was excited when Anne asked me to capture the two boys plus their new addition, another BOY! (Good luck to mom!) We drove down to the Charlestown Navy Yard together and the boys did their thing. This time, W taught me all about anchors. :) Enjoy!

I first heard from T's mom when she was about 7 months pregnant for a newborn session. I met her during her 8th month to check out their apartment and see the light and chat about the session. Last week, I went back to photograph baby T at just 5 days and it was awesome. This is a good example of why I tell people to get their pics done as early as possible. T slept and let me move and reposition him with ease to get the most scrumptious shots. Toward the end, during the family pics, was the only time he was fussy and was just done at that point. But, that was fine since I had already captured some great moments. ENJOY!
I had the pleasure of photographing this little cutie last year and was happy when her mom contacted me to do more photos as well as pictures of her with her sisters and mother. A is on the move at all times and quite the fashionista. They are a beautiful group and we even
I had the pleasure of photographing a special day for this young girl. Her parents had a party for her at Catalyst in Cambridge after her Bat Mitzvah ceremony. Her friends were there dressed up and ready to have fun so we went outside to take some fun pictures of the group. They had (as all teen girls do), a lot of ideas for photos, including the ever popular, "Jumping Photo". When we came back in, H did everything she could to avoid being lifted up in a chair for the Hora, but they got her anyway. They finished the party off with dancing and fun, and a few family shots. Enjoy!
I was contacted by A's mom a while back after she saw my poster up in Olivia Browning's window. We scheduled for a Thursday evening and I met them at their house. 'A' was instantly smiling at me (always a good sign when they don't need a warm up period). We walked to the Bunker Hill Monument and started snapping. Little 'A', like most babies was fascinated by the grass blowing in the breeze and was looking down a lot, but we still managed to get a bunch of that cute, angelic face (and THOSE EYES!), especially when her dad got there and she was belly laughing. Dad's always manage to get the big laughs (poor mom's!!). haha. I absolutely LOVED this family and again, feel so blessed to have such great clients! So, here's another BEAUTIFUL baby and family for you to enjoy!
I first met C for his newborn shoot last spring. He was so easy and let me pose him with no problems. I then went to take his 6 months pics back in the fall and he had grown to the happiest, big blue eyed boy. He was totally laid back and just smiled at me and my camera the whole time. You may remember this one. Now, here we are, a year later than that first shoot. C is definitely a lot more active and on the go. He, like all one year olds, was walking and running around. He has the best laugh. We started in his room, then moved outside to the yard, and finished off with his sports themed cake smash. Enjoy!
I first photographed J when he was a newborn and then again at 4 months. He has always been pretty mellow and smiley. J's parents are super laid back and like simple, lifestyle photos. They decided on the Bunker Hill Monument for the first year pictures and cake smash and we had a beautiful day for it. J was so happy and active and kept looking right at me with that big smile of his. He doesn't have a sweet tooth, but still did a good job getting his hands in his cake. Enjoy!
I first met little T when he was 6 months. He was super adorable and smiley and had those chubby cheeks and thigh rolls that are just awesome on babies. His mom contacted me a while back about his first year cake smash and I was excited to see him again. We had a cloudy day, but luckily it was warm so we could go to the park across the street from their house for some pics!
Now, cake smashes go different every time. Some kids stick a finger in, try it and then will eventually dig in. Some will just keep sticking one or two fingers in and we end up having to break it up for them. Some barely touch it. And, some dig right in and make a huge mess. T was one of those! He dug in with both hands right away and devoured the cake. It was awesome! Enjoy!! Two more cake smashes from that weekend to come later this week! I have known the S family for many years and they have always been awesome. The girls were only toddlers when I first met them. They are now much older and little baby P was added to this great family just a few months ago. We had a few obstacles (bad weather, life getting in the way) with getting a session scheduled, but were finally able to do it and it turned out to be a great day. The girls weren't excited about the session, but I think they ended up having a lot of fun. The session was laid back and fun combining great natural light indoors and some fun pictures up at the Bunker Hill Monument. I feel fortunate to have my amazing clients and this family is no exception. Enjoy! Isn't he the cutest? The girls have the most beautiful custom canopies that I HAD to incorporate. I LOVE this one!
