2016 was a year of ups and downs for many people. I had many ups and business was no exception. I loved seeing my repeat clients and catching up. I also met so many amazing new clients! I feel so blessed to be able to do what I love and for clients to let me into thier lives for their important moments! It's hard to pick favorites from every session, which I do every year. So, I of course picked more than one from each session. However, I did have some absolute favorites above all other photos of the year. I narrowed that down a lot more. ;) Please feel free to share! Current clients, remember referrals earn you % off of sessions through the year and prospective clients, I can't wait to hear from you! I know 2017 will be even better and I look forward to the many memories I will capture! Contact me to set up your portrait, head shot, event or wedding experience today! Here are my absolute favorite moments this year followed by the collage of every session. Enjoy!! XO The hearts, the flowers, the little painted toes. What's not to love? Every toddler has their moments....he obviously didn't want to be in the picture but he came around. But I do love this one! Any of my clients who have children can relate. :) Two from this session becuase it's the other side of a toddler. It's just too sweet for words. Those moments you can't plan... He was so fascinated with the light, it was magical. Sisters taking a moment.... Her whole session was perfection but this one was my favorite. The colors, that perfect little face and the beautiful light. I could share 50 images from this session. Keep an eye out for my fairy styled shoots in the spring! The girls LOVED doing this shoot and the results were awesome. You can see the whole shoot here: Woodland Fairies My favorite pet/baby shot ever. I love a shoot that is just natural and a playground is a perfect plce for that. As we walked by this art installation, I knew I had to get them to sit under this part. Vintage toy planes may have been one of my best investments. A little Peek-A-Boo Sesssions focused on just having fun are the best. I love the magical touches I started to add to some images this year. A backyard can appear to be a place from a fairy tale. Her eyes and the way she is biting her lip amde me love this one. Their whole shoot was awesome. The simple, lifestyle shots are some of my favorites. We aren't always lucky enough to get the smile, but when we do..... Those moments, especially in black and white show so much love. You can see this shoot on my Facebook but I will be blogging it soon as well. My beautiful model cousins and I did this shoot before the fairy one above and it was everything I hoped it would be. LIke the fairy one, I could share every photo and find it hard to pick favorites. I love the mom/child moments. Those lifestyle sessions...This Carousel is a favorite session location and they always love it.
The crib shot is always something I try to get. Fun shots in the backyard and that smile... Consider doing an in-home lifestyle session this winter! They're so much fun and provide images showing every day life for your family. :) The magic of Christmas.
