It's been a long time since I blogged but I'm going to try to be better at it! I'm sharing a recent shoot now and you'll be seeing some shoots from 2016 and then some more recents. :) Elizabeth was referred to me on the Charlestown Mother's Association website (thanks to my former clients for referrals). I got to meet and snuggle her new precious boy on a hot summer day. He and I were sufficiently hot with my heater to keep him toasty and sleepy. ;0 He was perfect, letting me pose him and staying asleep but also gave me a glimpse at those open eyes. You'll be seeing more of baby J when he's 6 months and a year. I LOVE first year plans and watching my littlest clients grow!

Well, I just can't narrow down what to share any more than this. These are my dear friends and their new addition. That warrants a lot of images making the blog post. Plus, he's gorgeous and I was in LOVE with the mommy and daddy shots I got. Enjoy!!
*Do not download or screen shot images from this page. These images are owned by Nicole O'Neil Photography. Sometimes, I get SO many great shots, that I can't narrow down which to share. This was one of those times. Meet Beautiful Miss M, her brother (who I also photographed throughout his first year) and their great parents! Enjoy!
Beautiful, tiny features, head of red hair, and sleepy girl through the poses. Little G even woke up a bit at the end to get a great awake shot looking right at me. Enjoy!
I received an email from little O's mom looking for a newborn session. The baby was already born, which is usually difficult to schedule during the ideal newborn timeframe. (FYI- It is best to contact me at least a few months before birth, if not sooner). However, I had another newborn session that had to reschedule the next day and so, I went to Brighton to meet this great family. O was perfection, sleeping soundly through her poses and letting me move her around with ease before she woke up for her photos with her awesome mom and dad. Enjoy!
I had a great time with this family. This is a little bit of a longer blog post as it combines three sessions. We had the maternity shoot and due to scheduling, had to split and do two separate sessions for the baby when he arrived. We had great weather and were able to do some great outdoor photos in a really cool swing they had. It is made out of tires and provided a unique and fun prop to use! Enjoy! Mom bought this adorable outfit to represent the Blackhawks, who her dad works for. And we incorporated drumsticks as a surprise for her husband. :) An amazing big sister, giving little brother lots of love. :)
Gift certificates for newborn photography have become more and more popular and the recipients are ALWAYS excited! This was one of those times. Little E was just precious and tiny and her parents are wonderful. She gave me just enough sleepy time and some nice awake shots looking right into my camera (I just love when they do that). Enjoy!
Little C didn't want to sleep a lot for me, but she was still a great little client. Her mom and dad obviously just adore her and some of my favorite shots are of her with them. There's nothing like seeing the connection between new parents and their first baby. Enjoy!
Well, it's been a LONG time. Life got in the way last year and I wasn't keeping up with blogging, but I am hoping to blog as many older sessions as I can get to and share the great clients I've had over the last 8 months (wow). But, now, a recent adorable newborn session.
One of my great clients from west of the city referred her friend to me when she wanted newborn photos. I arrived at their beautiful home on a sunny Sunday morning. Little J's parents are awesome. They were obviously over the moon in love with J and each other. I know, I always say my clients are awesome, but it's always true! We did their session at 20 days new since he was born early and was a tiny little guy. He proved to be a fantastic little client. We got so many great shots as he stayed sleepy and even got not one, but multiple smiles! Enjoy! I had seen this family around town, but met them when I went to check out their house and plan our session. Again, I get such amazing clients! The day of the session, we were doing family shots first, so while mom and dad finished getting ready, big sister, H and I hung out. I felt like I was talking to someone my own age. She is smart and BEAUTIFUL ! I mean beautiful (good luck, mom and dad!). Well, you'll see below. How could she not be though? The whole family is good looking. I think the first photo makes the list of my top favorite family photos of all time. I also loved how gentle and sweet H was with her baby brother. He wasn't very happy to just sleep and pose, but we got into a rhythm after a while. Enjoy!!
