Well, here we are in 2013! The last 3 months of 2012 flew by for me. I started doing photography full time last July and this past Fall proved I made the right decision. I had many amazing returning clients and many new ones. I feel thankful every day not only to be doing what I love, but to also be blessed with such great clients. It is a lot of hard work and I am still figuring things out, but I would not ask for it to be any different. Thank you to all who support my business. I look forward to capturing many more great memories for you and my new clients in 2013 and beyond!
I'm catching up on blogging so I can share all of the wonderful shoots I had for the Fall/Holiday season. The family below is amazing. I have actually known them since the girls were little and they are some of the nicest people I know. The girls are never very psyched to have a photo shoot, but by the end, they are generally coming up with all kinds of crazy pose ideas! Little mister P is one of the happiest babies I have ever met and always has a smile. It's always guaranteed that I will have fun doing a session with this family and we even got dad in some pics this time. Enjoy!

I had been looking forward to this shoot for what seemed like forever. We had to reschedule twice due to bad weather, but I know I will have sessions when they are supposed to happen. I knew these girls beforehand and find them to be ADORABLE. We met on a recent summer evening and had a blast making our way around the Navy Yard. We ended with what started as dipping feet in the wading pool and turned into swimming in their dresses. SO AWESOME. We had so much fun and I captured so many great shots, I had a lot of trouble narrowing down for this blog post. So, there are a lot of photos for you to see. ENJOY!
I was contacted by L's mom a while back. She is friends with other clients of mine (and related to others). I love how everyone is so connected. We decided on the Boston Public Gardens for the session and we couldn't have gotten a better day! It was gorgeous out. We sort of wandered around the Gardens and captured some great shots of little L. It was so laid back, which is key to a really successful shoot. They were totally patient and go-with-the-flow. We all just enjoyed the weather and looking at those cheeks and eyes! Enjoy!
A very good friend of mine got her brother and sister in law a great gift- a newborn session! They had beautiful twin girls and were excited to get such a great gift. I went out to Hudson and they did not disappoint. They were about 5.5 lbs each and just precious! Their parents were obviously so in love with them and were handling two babies very well and with great patience. I had a great time capturing the girls individually, together, and with their parents. Enjoy!
I was referred to baby R's mom by a great client of mine. I first went when she was about 7 months old. She is one of the most smiley babies I have met. I love this age when they are starting to try and talk and have just those few teeth. SO CUTE! R also has the most beautiful eyes. The next time you see her here, she'll be with her new sibling who is coming this month. I'm sure the new addition will be just as adorable!!! I'm starting below with one from her 7 month. ENJOY! One of my personal favorites! My other personal Favorite!I first had the pleasure of photographing the C family when they lived in Charlestown. We had met to photograph their 2 year old at the time who is now 3. I was excited when they called to have me come capture the newest members of their family, twin girls, T and M. Dad is greatly outnumbered in this family! The girls are all so beautiful and the precious new additions are obviously loved very much. I especially loved how older sister C refers to them as "My Babies". Super cute. Enjoy!
Baby E is my friend's second daughter. You may remember her from her Fall newborn shoot. I am lucky enough to be following this cutie every 3 months for her first year. She was so happy and cooperative. As long as I talked to her and laid her down so she could look around, she was all laughs and smiles. And just wait to see her eyes! Big and beautiful, just like her big sister who you will also see below. Look out mom and dad! ENJOY!
Some great clients of mine referred S's mom to me. I met S and her parents at Borderland State Park in Easton (my favorite locale south of the city). We wandered around to capture some great shots. S was shy and took time to warm up but once she did she was laughing away. She was exploring every area we went to and mostly, she wanted to just stand up and walk as most one year olds do! ENJOY!
I really need to blog all of my shoots from now on! I had a great time shooting yesterday. Little Ana is described by her grandmother as "a tomboy" but we still managed to get her a little girly. However, the ones that really capture her are the ones when she is simply in jeans and a sweatshirt. I had the chance to use my new pink background which I love. Having the flexibility to carry around my "portable studio" to people's homes makes the experience personal and relaxed. Enjoy the pictures of this beautiful little 9 month old.
