I know many of N's family members and his parents received some gift certificates toward a newborn shoot (becoming a popular shower gift!). He was tiny and adorable. Dad is a cop, so we made sure to incorporate that! He also had a little onesie made for the Cafe his grandparents own, which was big on him, but of course, we made sure to use it! He was nice and sleepy and was super easy to pose, making for a smooth session. The last picture is perhaps my favorite. You'll see why. ENJOY!

I traveled up to visit a friend and her little ones the week after I returned from my trip. I have been taking her youngest daughter's pictures every few months for the first year and this was our final part of the baby plan. We had iffy weather but it held out for us and we even still had amazing light coming into their kitchen (seriously, if I had the great natural light they have, I would do tons of sessions in my house). Emma got right into the cake and definitely smashed it! Enjoy!!
I had the pleasure of first meeting little Miss L in the Spring for her 6 month pictures. This time, we were doing her first birthday. We had to reschedule, but had a beautiful day for our session. She is super cute and happy. After a walk down the street to Phillips Academy for some outdoor shots, we went back and finished with the cake smash at her house. Enjoy!
I am WAY behind on blogging. This session was my first one back after Ireland. Baby A's mom found me when Molly of Molly Anne Photography did my head shots and posted them on her blog. Thanks Molly! I traveled out to Westborough and we had a great session. Baby A was easy to pose and sleepy, which always helps! Her room is decorated with owls, so I was sure to bring one of my newest baby girl props, an owl hat. Her parents are awesome and I can't wait for the 6 month and 1 year session (they signed up for a baby plan). It's so much fun watching them grow and capturing such great memories. Enjoy!
This next baby is extra special because her mom is my cousin. Erin and I grew up together, sometimes acting more like sisters-think, yelling at each other. Well, more like her yelling at and bossing me around. Love you Erin. ;) haha. I love her anyway and am very happy to have her in my life. She is married to a great man and has a handsome son. Then, came baby M, to only add more happiness and beauty to this great family. Enjoy!
I am flying through these blogs and just a few more to be caught up!!
I have met these boys before at my friend Jen's house. Their mom is a good friend of Jen's and she contacted me wanting some photos of them. I hadn't done a session at World's End in Hingham yet, so was happy to suggest it since it is a good central place for us. We went on a Sunday morning and it was beautiful weather. We wandered around, not really knowing where we were in the park. It is a beautiful location for a walk, hanging out, or a photo session! Enjoy! My buddy H loves trains. For his second birthday shoot, we were originally supposed to do beach photos in August, but the rain messed us up! So, we opted for a train theme. We went to tracks that are unused down on Medford Street. Every time at the beginning that I would go onto the middle of the tracks and tell him to come on with me he would say "NO Nicole!" and grab my hand saying, "Come off. Train coming!" It was super cute and i'm sure I was confusing him by saying, "Yes, it's okay to be on these train tracks!" We had fun, as I always do with H and captured some great shots. Enjoy! I have been dying for someone to do this next idea, so I was so happy when Lauren asked for it. I saw the finished product when I got home from Ireland and it came out great! This was a 5x7 card, but it is possible to do this for any size print or canvas. (You just have to tell me if you are thinking of doing it so I can make sure to get a few shots with a lot of background like this).
I was excited when Aimee's mom contacted me about senior pictures. I love all the babies and little ones that I photograph, but also love doing older people too! Seniors are fun because they have their own style and it is great to see their personality come out in their photos. We met on Medford St behind Doherty Park because I have been wanting to use the stairs there. We then made our way down to the Navy Yard. The weather was perfect and we got great shots. Enjoy!
I first photographed V when she was 3 months. She has the most beautiful eyes and is super cute and happy. This time, we met at the Esplanade for her 9 month pics. I can't wait for her cake smash in December! Enjoy!
WOW! I just realized how behind I am on blogging! It is ridiculous. I'm going to do my best to get all sessions from before Ireland blogged by midweek.
Last year, I had photographed a family at the Bunker Hill Monument. Melissa had contacted me to do family photos while her in-laws were in town. We had a fun shoot and captured some great photos. I hadn't seen them since, but got an email from Melissa in August that she had just given birth to a beautiful little girl and they wanted photos. I was excited and made sure to find a spot for her. Little M had a full head of hair and we had a great session. Enjoy! |
